Vegan Valentines Shortbread

Hello lovelies, now I wasn't planning on doing a valentines post because honestly, I completely forgot it was valentines day. Although, I've wanted to make shortbread for so long, so I decided to make a dairy free version and cut them into little hearts, so here's to valentines! Anyway, we all know why you're here and that's for the shortbread, so lets get to the recipe.

125g Plain Flour
50g Sugar
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
112g Dairy Free Butter

I use either Sainsbury's Baking Block or Pure Sunflower Spread, also you can use Stevia instead of sugar to make it a dairy and sugar free recipe!

1. Preheat your oven to 150c
2. Add the flour, sugar and salt to the bowl you're using, adding the butter and rubbing the mixture together until it looks like breadcrumbs.
3. Once you've got breadcrumb like mixture, knead together and roll out on a floured surface.
4. Using your desired cutters, cut out as many as you can, repeating the kneading and rolling out step until you don't have any mixture left. (You can also sprinkle sugar on top!)
5. Pop your shortbread's in the oven for 45 minutes, once they are cooked, take them out and leave them to cool for a further 30 minutes.

And then, enjoy these guilt free shortbread's!

What's your favorite snack?

Lots of love,
